When I was starting my law firm, having other owners to swap ideas with, like “how are you hiring?” or “what system do you use?”, was priceless. Oasis gives you that same type of community.
2. EcoTech Visions.
Think of this as a green-tech incubator. They support startups working on clean energy, sustainable products, and other environmentally friendly solutions. You do have to apply, and sometimes they ask for equity, so it’s smart to get legal advice first. But if you’re in green tech, this could be a strong launchpad.
3. Larkin University.
This private school here in Miami Gardens focuses on biomedical science. They have labs and resources perfect for health-tech and wearable-tech innovators. If your project needs research space, this is worth checking out.
4. Miami-Dade Innovation Authority.
This countywide program funds solutions to local problems. Basically, they put out challenges and invite inventors to step up with answers. If you’re looking for real-world projects to plug into, this is a great path.
5. City STEM and STEAM Programs.
I love these kinds of programs because they invest in the next generation. Robotics competitions, science fairs, pitch contests, they’re giving kids a chance to think big. If you’ve got a tech-focused product, these events also connect you with future talent.
