And yes, we’re here if you need help with patents, trademarks, or just figuring out where to begin. Hit our contact page and book a free discovery call anytime.
Let’s jump in.
1. 43North
This one’s a big deal. 43North is a startup accelerator based at Seneca One Tower. It’s not open to everyone, you’ve got to apply, but if you get in, you could receive a $1 million investment, plus office space, mentorship, and a shot at scaling fast.
Companies like Circuit Clinical, which is changing how clinical trials are done, started here. You could be next.
2. University at Buffalo (UB) Incubators
UB offers multiple incubators. Think of them like a warm, safe nest for early-stage startups. They’re great for founders who are technical but may not know the ropes on the business side, like marketing, operations, or fundraising.
Buffalo Automation is a recent success story. They build AI systems for maritime safety and efficiency, and they started right here.
3. Western New York Incubator Network (WNY Incubator Network or WIN)
This is a group of incubators all working together to support founders across the region. You get access to mentors, guidance, education, and a real community of people rooting for your success.
A recent graduate? HiOperator, a SaaS company that’s been making waves.
4. Launch NY
This nonprofit is all about mentorship. Their team offers free, one-on-one support, and they’re backed by public and private funding.
If you qualify, you could get hands-on help from people who’ve done it before, plus connections to funding opportunities down the road.
5. Invest Buffalo Niagara
This group focuses on regional economic development, but that doesn’t mean it’s all red tape. They help new founders with things like funding applications and setting up operations, especially helpful if you’re strong on the tech side but still learning how to build a business.
This is where you meet people who know how to turn an idea into a company.
That’s the list! If you’re building something here in Buffalo and want support with patents, trademarks, or just figuring out your next step, we’re ready to help.
