We mentioned this organization a number of times in some of our previous business resource articles (Seattle, Los Angeles, New York, and so on), but for those of you who don’t know what SCORE already is, it’s a national volunteer business group that offers free, one-on-one confidential advice and free to reduced cost business courses. 

Around since 1965, the San Jose chapter has been open on most business days from 9 AM to 1 PM.  Depending on the needs of its client, the office is sometimes open in early evenings and Saturdays for appointments and classes.

For those who are interested in learning how to bring volunteers to their non-profit organizations, there will be a free session on Wednesday, November 13th at the office from 9:30 am to 11:30 am PST.
