Around the age of 8, my highly skillful father constructed cardboard into a slope and attached it under the flat dish drying rack so that the water would run off the rack and into the sink. Like countless others who come up with unique design ideas, my father had no clue about or how to even begin to patent an idea. Perhaps, seeing my father invent is what inspired me to seek the American Dream with my own unique design not found in the market place.
