Hi everyone. I’m J.D. Houvener with Bold Patents. I’m just recapping the event we went to yesterday, the Economic Forecast Conference 2018, downtown Seattle, hosted at the Westin Hotel. We had a great time; it was an action-packed six to seven hours. We got to meet a lot of different business owners, community members, part of the educating universities and colleges, offering different types of programs, and we got to learn a lot about economics, of course, and the forecast of this area in the region in general.

I sat in one conference early on that discussed the fact that Seattle is the number one growing business city in the country, with 58 cranes currently in action downtown. It was pretty impressive to hear about how much development there is in Seattle. I listened to a panel later on in the day talking about one of the major issues to innovation is making sure we don’t get stuck in traffic. So it was sort of this word out to get the community better and put the funds together to get the infrastructure so we can get to work, get to business, and keep on doing what we do best here in Seattle, which is innovate.

I want to do a quick drawing; we’ve got 100 cards over the past time during the event. So the winner, the prize, is gonna be a $100 Amazon gift card. So I’m gonna draw that right now.

And the winner is Andriy from the Seattle Southside Chamber of Commerce. All right, Andriy, we’ll get in touch with you to follow up with an Amazon gift card. Have a wonderful day. Go big, go bold!
