Whether you’re just sketching out your invention or knee-deep in a prototype, these local groups can offer real support. Oh, and I’ll throw in some legal tips along the way, too.
1. Startup Tucson
This nonprofit is built for you, the solo inventor or founder trying to figure it all out. They host free community events, offer low-cost training, and run a membership program to help early-stage businesses grow.
They even have a pre-accelerator program (fancy way of saying: “We’ll help you get moving faster.”)
📍 Hot tip: Check out their big annual event, the TENWEST Impact Festival.
🧠 Notable grads: RallyUp (a fundraising platform) and Talk Accounting (voice-activated finance tech).
2. University of Arizona – Center for Innovation (UACI)
Think of it as an incubator that wraps around your startup like a warm blanket. They offer space, mentorship, legal resources, and investor connections, all tied to the University of Arizona.
Great for students, grads, and researchers ready to turn ideas into companies.

3. SA Tech (Southern Arizona Tech + Entrepreneurship Center)
Focused on IT, applied tech, and smart manufacturing. This incubator is for startups that build serious tools, whether it’s security, software, or supply chain tech.

4. FORGE (Finding Opportunities and Resources to Grow Entrepreneurs)
Another powerful program from the University of Arizona. FORGE helps technical founders who’ve got great products, but no clue how to run a company.
They offer mentorship, community, and funding opportunities to help your business grow faster.

5. COOK Tucson
