I want to share with you a really cool story about one of our clients, Lubin YC Chan. He came to our firm about six years ago with an invention. He actually brought his prototype to the office, and we had video meetings after that. One of the first things I noticed about him was his hunger, his determination. He was going to make this new lock box happen. It didn’t really matter if we couldn’t help him get a patent; he was on a mission.
Of course, we were able to help him get his patents. This is a major success story. If you were to look up Lubin (L-U-B-N) Incorporated, they have now been funded and are worldwide, selling smart real estate lock boxes. He, as the founder, was on a mission, like I said. It’s that determination, that hustle, and that is what we’re looking for in inventors – that they have both inventions and know they have to do a lot more than just get the patent but have a good business sense to get to the market and make a big impact.
So, congrats to YC and Lubin.
