Patent Attorney and Founder

Hi, everyone! J.D. Houvener here, founding partner at Bold Patent Law. Just wanted to provide a brief update in the middle of the week. One of the most recent patents we just got issued last week, June 19th, finally showed up in physical form. After patent number 10 million, the Patent Office changed the way the patents look. So, I’m going to show you the front cover. This is the brand new cover that’s put on all patents going forward. Now, that’s beautiful. I like the new format. It’s got the new director, Andre Iancu, at the bottom, as you can see.

I also want to give a shout-out to our inventor here locally out of Edmonds, Washington, David Winters. He’s got his new patent on a motorcycle cruise control, patent number 10 million two hundred fifty-one. It’s a mechanical throttle lock and will help those drivers out there, through retrofit or for new motorcycles, develop that new technology to get the speed locked in. So, congrats to David Winters, and I hope you’re all having a wonderful day. Go big, go bold!
